Off Campus — is a six months skills development and youth training program. Via this program mentees will be partnered with mentors who will educate them on the ins and outs of their profession.

 

Knowledge is power and connections are key. Off Campus will provide 10-12 young and emerging music professionals (18-29), prioritizing Black youth, an opportunity to further build their careers with mentorship, training, and are equipped with real-world hands-on training via placement. Manifesto will host upto five micro-sized professional development training classes including but not limited to: Event Production Coordinator, Music Business Management, Film & photography, Live Sound Engineering, and PR & Marketing.

 

The ultimate goal is to provide emerging artists with the tools needed for growth and sustainability within the music sector. Off Campus will be a key part of sharing the Manifesto story and model's essence. It will highlight the strength, potential and talent of the music sector and Ontario’s young people.

Highlights

In the past, the Off Campus program has offered courses in Live Music Production, Music Business Management, Public Relations, Communications, Film, and Video Production. Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to succeed in their chosen careers by offering real-world, hands-on experience.

Calling out all Canadian Artists, DJs & MCs

We are seeking artists, DJs, creatives and MCs to showcase their talents in the lead-up to this year's annual festival. Interested candidates may submit their applications when they become available in March.
