FSTVL SZN — is a six months skills development and youth training program. Via this program mentees will be partnered with mentors who will educate them on the ins and outs of their profession.
Knowledge is power and connections are key. FSTVL SZN will provide 10-12 young and emerging music professionals (18-29), prioritizing Black youth, an opportunity to further build their careers with mentorship, training, and are equipped with real-world hands-on training via placement. Manifesto will host upto five micro-sized professional development training classes including but not limited to: Event Production Coordinator, Music Business Management, Film & photography, Live Sound Engineering, and PR & Marketing.
The ultimate goal is to provide emerging artists with the tools needed for growth and sustainability within the music sector. FSTVL SZN will be a key part of sharing the Manifesto story and model's essence. It will highlight the strength, potential and talent of the music sector and Ontario’s young people.
In the past for FSTVL SZN the programs offered have been Live music production, Music Business Management, PR and Communications, and Film and Video production. We want our students to thrive in their own careers and get real-life hands-on experience.
